Generally, no.
On rare occasions, I may be able to arrange a mobile massage for a group of clients, clients with limited mobility, or a sporting event. A supplement may apply.
Couples massage, where two people are massaged at the same time, isn’t possible as I work alone.
Consecutive appointments are possible. If you require this, please contact me when booking so I can adjust the start time of the second massage to minimize your waiting time.
Depending on the weather and time of day, the waiting person has a few options to pass the time:
- In summertime, wait in the parking area on a sun lounger, enjoying the beautiful views.
- Go for a walk in the hamlet of Champanastais and the local woods directly from Hibiscus Massage (directions provided on request).
- Visit the lake in Lauzet-Ubaye by car, 3km from Hibiscus Massage. In summer there is a snack bar, La Buvette du Lac, with a chillout area.
- Have a drink at the hotel in Lauzet-Ubaye, Le Relais du Lac, 3km from Hibiscus Massage.
- Wait in the car or even stay in the massage room if your companion does not mind.
Yes. I trained in pregnancy massage in the UK and offer an adapted Swedish massage during the second and third trimesters. The massage is performed mainly in a side-lying position, with some time on the back.
It is suitable for clients without serious medical problems. If you have any concerns, please contact me before booking.
Normal opening hours are 14:00–19:30 every day, by appointment only.
If you need an appointment outside these hours, please contact me with the time you’d like, along with your preferred massage and duration, and I’ll let you know if it is possible.

Under normal circumstances, I’ll respond within six hours of receiving your inquiry.
As I also manage reception during busy periods, it may occasionally take a little longer.
Yes. Gift certificates can be purchased online and are valid for one year.
To buy online, click BUY A GIFT on any page of the website, choose the amount and follow the payment instructions. The certificate can be emailed directly to the recipient or to you if you wish to print it or give it to them in person.
Use the recipient’s name and your own email address if you want to print it out or give it to them in person. Or use their email address for the gift certificate to arrive in their inbox immediately.
Yes. Gift certificates are transferable. If you’re unable to use yours, you can give it to someone else.
Your appointment
There isn’t a waiting room, so please don’t arrive too early as you may disturb the previous client or the room may not yet be ready.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. This gives you time to complete the health form, use the bathroom and get undressed without feeling rushed.
If you arrive on time, your massage time starts when I begin the massage. If you arrive late, your appointment will still finish at the scheduled time.
You can pay by card when booking online, or at the end of your session by cash, check, gift certificate or contactless card.
There isn’t an ATM nearby.
If you pay online and cancel at least two hours beforehand, your payment will be refunded.
It’s best to cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice. However, sometimes this isn’t possible because of sudden illness or unforeseen circumstances.
You can cancel by text, phone message or email. There is no charge if you cancel at least two hours before your massage.
No-shows or cancellations less than two hours before the start time may incur a charge of 50% of the massage price. If the cancellation policy is applied, I’ll send you an invoice by email for payment.
If you’re unwell, please cancel your appointment. You shouldn’t receive a massage if you’re feeling unwell or may be contagious.
Please contact me by phone, text or email to change or cancel your appointment. You can also use the links in your confirmation and reminder emails.
To say thank you for recommending Hibiscus Massage, you’ll get a discount for each new client who comes for their first massage.
Just ask this person to mention your name when they first visit. You’ll then receive an email confirming the offer.
This offer will allow you to enjoy a 2h Thai massage or a 1h30 lava shells massage for 90 euros instead of 110 euros.
This offer must be used within four months.
Yes. For every nine massages purchased, you’ll receive a free 1h30 massage of your choice, so your tenth massage is free.
This applies to all sessions you pay for, including massages for friends and family members and gift certificates you purchase.
