Do you offer a mobile massage service?
It may be that other services are added in the future but for now we don’t offer a massage service at your home.
Can I have a massage if I’m pregnant?
Yes, the practitioner has been trained to massage pregnant women in the UK. The session will be adapted so that the client is massaged while lying on her side, with a little time spent lying on her back.
Please note, however, that we cannot offer our services to pregnant women during their first trimester or if the client is experiencing serious medical issues during their second or third trimesters. If in doubt, please call to discuss prior to booking a massage.
What are your opening hours?
Our normal hours are from 13:00 – 19:30 every day, by appointment only.
If you’re unable to make it during our normal hours, please tell us the time and treatment you want, and we’ll let you know if we can book you in.
When additional sessions are available, we’ll announce them via our Hibiscus Massage Facebook Page.
How long for you to return my call or answer my email?
Under normal circumstances we aim to get back to you within six hours of receiving your enquiry.
As the therapist also manages the reception during busy times it may take a little longer to respond.
PREPARE FOR YOUR MASSAGE
When should I arrive for my appointment?
We don’t have a waiting room, so please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before your appointment. If you do, you may disturb the previous client.
Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes before your appointment. Arriving a few minutes early is recommended so you don’t feel rushed.
So long as you arrive on time, your massage time starts once the practitioner puts their hands on you. If you arrive late, you won’t receive an extension to your scheduled appointment time.
Please be on time to avoid losing time from your massage.
How can I pay?
We accept cash, checks and gift vouchers. Please pay us at the end of your session.
We are unable to process bank cards at this time.
We do not offer discounts for cash payments.
CANCELING AND RESCHEDULING
What is your cancelation policy?
The cancelation policy will be implemented if you cancel less than 2 hours before your massage start time. You can cancel by text, phone message or email. There will be no charge if you cancel your appointment at least 2 hours beforehand.
Ideally you’ll cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice. However, sometimes it’s not possible to give this much notice due to sudden sickness or unforeseen events. Therefore, our cancelation policy aims to give you the flexibility you need, while still respecting the limitations of managing a small business.
If you just don’t turn up, or you cancel or reschedule less than 2 hours before the start time you’ll need to pay 50% of your missed treatment cost before we accept any further bookings from you.
Should we need to apply the cancelation policy, you’ll be invoiced via email and this amount must be paid as soon as possible.
If you get sick, please cancel. You should not receive massage if you’re feeling unwell as you may be contagious and will not enjoy the experience.
How do I change my appointment?
You can change or cancel your appointment by contacting us by phone, text or email.
If you booked online you can use the links provided in the emails to change or cancel your appointment.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers are available to purchase and have a six-month time limit.
Once the order and payment has been received the voucher will be sent by email.
Are gift vouchers transferable?
Yes, all gift vouchers are transferable. Therefore, if you’re unable to use your gift voucher for any reason, you can give it to someone else.
REFERRALS AND LOYALTY REWARDS
What is a referral discount?
In order to encourage our clients to recommend our services, we offer you a discount for each new client who comes to Hibiscus Massage following your recommendation.
Just ask this person to mention your name when they first visit, and you will receive an email confirming the offer.
This offer will allow you to benefit from a 2h Thai massage or a 1h30 lava shells massage for 60 euros instead of 90 euros.
This offer must be used within four months.
Do you have a loyalty program?
We reward our clients for their loyalty.
For every nine massages purchased, you’ll receive a free 1h30 massage of your choice. Therefore, your tenth massage will be free.
This applies to all sessions you pay for, including those for friends and family members, and any gift vouchers you purchase online.
